The discussions marked the official start of their Ugandan tour, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in promoting Africa’s tourism potential.

Purpose of the Visit

The Ugandan leg is part of a historic 39-country expedition aimed at:

  • Promoting free movement across African nations.
  • Strengthening cultural exchange and unity.
  • Boosting intra-African tourism by showcasing diverse traditions and destinations.

Hon. Ras Mubarak highlighted that the campaign seeks to break barriers, foster people-to-people connections, and encourage Africans to explore their own continent.

The Ndere Cultural Centre performance set the tone for the visit, offering the delegation a taste of Uganda’s artistic heritage. The event underscored the role of culture as a bridge for unity and tourism development.

Looking Ahead

Over the next four days, the delegation will continue to engage with Ugandan leaders, tourism operators, and communities, reinforcing the campaign’s mission to build a stronger, interconnected Africa through tourism and cultural appreciation.
